“So I'm grateful to be the Patron of Pride.” “I'm willing to stand toe to toe when it comes to my community and my friends and family,” Goins-Robinson said. “My ultimate goal is for the world to realize and understand the individuality of our humanity isn't a crime,” Goins-Robinson said.īecause of their years of activism, they’ve been chosen as this year’s Stonewall Columbus Patron of Pride. Goins-Robinson also advocates for HIV and AIDS awareness and helps fight for rights for transgender people. They work as a case manager for Central Outreach Wellness Center and help provide access to health care for all people, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. They live their life out loud and proud as a member and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. “Drag has helped me find my way, find myself, find my identity,” Goins-Robinson said.
